Shrimad Geeta chapter 2 verse 47
The Bhagavad Gita, also known as the Gita, is a Hindu scripture that is part of the epic poem the Mahabharata. It is a conversation between Lord Krishna and the warrior prince Arjuna on the battlefield of the Kurukshetra, just before the start of a great war. The Gita is considered by many to be a summary of the entire Hindu philosophical tradition, and it is often referred to as the "Song of the Lord". It contains 700 verses and is divided into 18 chapters. The Gita is revered for its insights on the nature of reality, the purpose of life, and the path to liberation. It is a central text in the Hindu tradition, and is widely studied and revered in India and around the world.
‘’Karm kiye jaa fal ki aasha mat kr!’’ This is
the most commonly heard verse of the Bhagwadgeeta but firstly let me correct
you it is not ‘fal ki aasha mat kr’ it is ‘fal ki chinta mat kr’ this completely
changes the understanding of this shloka.
In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna tells
Arjuna not to worry about the results of his actions, but rather to focus on
performing his duties to the best of his ability. The phrase "karm kiye jaa
fal ki chinta mat kar" can be translated as "do your action, but do
not worry about the result." This is one of the core teachings of the
Gita, and it is a reminder that we should not be attached to the outcome of our
actions.
The idea behind this teaching is that we
have no control over the results of our actions. We can only control the
actions themselves, and so we should focus on doing them to the best of our
ability. Worrying about the results of our actions can lead to anxiety and
stress, and can prevent us from doing our best. By letting go of our attachment
to the outcome, we can act with a clear mind and a pure heart. This is the path
to true happiness and fulfillment. So, we should do our duties with dedication
and without any expectation.
Look my dear friends, I too know its
very simple to say just believe on the almighty and let things go there way,
you just keep on doing what is in your hands. But it is also the fact that
consistency needs motivation and the results provides us motivation but while achieving
something big you do not see the results immediately but still need to continue
on the path you have selected facing all the odds. This is where you need to
have the divine faith on the almighty whomever you personally believe just
trust him and keep moving forward. Success always seems to be overnight but
never is, we do not have a look on the downfalls, the sleepless nights, the
opposition, the struggle one has faced.
To conclude I will simply ask you to
have faith on yourself and the almighty more than others. There are people who
will always try to stop you or take you away from your goals but you are the
one who decides what your future has to be. So just keep on doing what is
required and believe me one day all your effort have to payback you in the form of
success!!
